Letters to Edward Patrick Flaherty
Edward
Patrick Flaherty is an American lawyer. He focuses his practice on
representing whistle-blowers, staff members and third parties
working for or injured by international organizations, and is
presently representing several IO/UN staff members in test cases
before the European Court of Human Rights, and in US Federal
Courts in NYC.
In a landmark case, he has been counsel to Ms. Cynthia Brzak, the
UNHCR employee whose sexual harassment claims led to the
resignation of UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Ruud Lubbers.
From this page you can send a letter to him. Edward Patrick Flaherty
will reply weekly to letters
chosen from those addressed to him by our visitors.
The
opportunity to get in touch with Mr. Flaherty
will be very useful to all
those concerned with matters related to the administration of
justice at the UN and it will contribute to maintaining an
informed debate on the subject.
Letters should be fewer than 300 words and contain no attachments,
please. Unfortunately, it will not be always possible to
acknowledge the letters that we decide not to publish. Due to
